I figure that I better start out small with my first post. Ain't that apron a beauty! It's amazing what you'll find in basement storage when you do some long awaited cleaning.
I'm not sure that would have been my first post on a food blog. Mr. Steak, while well known for it's modern-day decor, outstanding management, and one of the best staffs to party with on Plainfield Ave., was probably not praised often for it's menu. For "Fine Dining in a Luxury Atmosphere", you would have to look farther down the ave to Finger's Resteraunt. Damn I wish I would have hung on to the numerous "memrobilia" that I managed to pilfer from the Fingers family. I'm going to let your first blogging faux-pax slide this time, and don't let any other Schelde's slobs try to say otherwise....Saunders....
Perfect! After this stellar First Posting I've poised myself to only go up from here. Subconciously the main reason for the apron picture was to get some great "kiss the cook" comments lobbed back from Saunders.....
Mr. Gunnetti, I hope my comments didn't make me come off as an a-hole. Just kidding about the staff at Scheldes, fine, fine people. Yeah, it's fun to bait Saunders and then wait to slam him, mwuh-ha-ha !! I'm surprised that in the middle of summer the blog is so slow, and we haven't heard from the Captain in weeks ! Myself, I am so broke that all I can throw on the grill right now are some "premium" hot-dogs, you know, the top-shelf weenies that go for $2 for 8. Not exactly the best BBQ blog entry. Anyhow, welcome to the blog, good to hear from your, get some food on the grill and let us know about it.
